Description
This is a “stand alone” course for those interested in massage and is an introduction to Swedish Massage.
Students will learn a routine to enable them to undertake a relaxing back massage using Swedish Massage techniques.
This course is the perfect therapy for beginners and experienced therapists alike and if the student wishes, can lead to our 2-day intensive Swedish Full Body Massage course, details of which are listed further down this page.
An Anatomy and Physiology qualification is NOT a requirement for this course which makes it perfect for therapists who do not currently have an A and P qualification and for people simply interested in massage for family and friends. (Anatomy and Physiology will be required for our 2-day course)
The course is dedicated to hands-on practice ensuring students can carry out a treatment confidently, safely, and effectively. Ongoing support is provided.
Upon completion students will be awarded a Diploma in Swedish Back Massage provided they can satisfy the Tutor that they are confident and competent.
£160 Inclusive of Comprehensive Manual.
The manual will be emailed in PDF format prior to your practical training day, a hard copy of the Routine, your Diploma and ongoing support.
Students are requested to provide their own lunch – refreshments are provided. Anatomy and Physiology qualification is not a requirement to undertake this course.
